British Cathedral Dean Bans Former ABC Carey: Thinks He's A Pain in the Neck

The London Times' Ruth Gledhill reports that the Dean of one of Britian's oldest cathedrals, Bangor Cathedral in Wales, has banned former ABC George Carey from delivering a lecture he was scheduled to give because the Dean thinks Carey is divisive and disloyal.

Carey's lecture, sponsored by the Church Mission Society, will now be given at St Paul's Church, Craig y Don, Llandudno, which since it does not appear on any map known to man and cannot be pronounced, should not cause much trouble.
